Meet the Storyteller
I've always known monsters existed and have been fascinated by why they haunt us and how to defeat them. I couldn’t get enough just reading about them growing up, so now they stalk the pages of my adult fiction, though their faces may have morphed to fit real struggles. I tell fast-paced stories about realistic characters wrestling with compelling challenges and having a scary good time in the process. But dark doesn’t mean depressing – these stories show how and why evil can’t win. In my free time, I can be found cultivating a jungle of houseplants, dancing at Victorian balls, and exploring the mountains just beyond my backyard.

Excellence in Creative Writing and Publishing Award: An award I received through Arapahoe Community College for getting a piece of flash fiction, a short story, and a 10-minute play published in two competitive showcases – a Literary Journal and a Postcard Fiction Anthology. I’m skilled at telling engaging and effective stories with constraining guidelines!

The Author Conservatory is an intensive mentorship that teaches its students the nuts and bolts of solid writing, how to understand the publishing industry and entrepreneurship, and gives them the chance to personally engage with and get quality feedback from industry professionals.Â
